RECYCLING

We at Pages Skip Hire Ltd are committed to environmental responsibility.  It is our company policy that the most environmentally friendly means are used for waste disposal wherever possible and NOT the cheapest.  We currently recycle up to 80% of all waste we receive at our Waste Transfer Station.

One of the key ways in which environmental damage can be reduced is by removing the demand for transportation.  Different types of waste require different recycling processes.  We currently recycle all metals, soils, wood, cardboard, paper, plastics, rubble and concrete.

Products are recycled in the following categories :

Rubble	Rubble is crushed on site to base grade hardcore and is available for sale.
Soil	Soil goes through a process of multiple screening and then analysed to ensure it is safe.
Wood	Wood is shredded and chipped, this can be used to enhance your soil, or as we have recently discovered, it can be used as arena surfaces.
Plasterboard	This is ground and used for soil conditioner.
Plastic Film	Film based plastic is baled and sent to be recycled.
Rigid Plastic	This is graded and sorted for resale back to the manufacturing suppliers.
Metals	They are separated, sorted and graded and sent for recycling.

Pages Skip Hire Ltd is authorised to store and carry hazardous materials to approved processing centres.
